Shrimp over Cheese Grits

Shrimp is sauteed with peppers and sweet onion, and served over a pile of hot cheese grits. I had a variation of this at a local restaurant, added a few things, and made it mine! Garlic bread makes a great side! be sure to have Tabasco on hand to add appropriate spice.

Step: 1

Combine the water and cream in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, and stir in the grits. When the grits start to thicken, stir in the processed cheese, and simmer, stirring occasionally until grits are thick and ready to eat, about 10 minutes.

Step: 2

While you are waiting on the grits, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Saute the green and red peppers with the onion and garlic. When the grits are almost done, add the shrimp to the saute mixture, and cook for about 5 more minutes, or just until the shrimp is cooked through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step: 3

Serve the cheese grits with a generous helping of the shrimp saute over them. Add a dash of hot pepper sauce for heat if you like.

Depriving yourself can lead to lot of eat , late-night snacking, and mindless eating and it’s for this reason that Riner encourages people to indulge in “fun” foods every once in a while.

Avoidance on late-night snacking and cravings , it is much necessary to include some fun foods (or what one may perceive as unnecessary ). It means , if we always order the healthiest thing on the menu but come home and graze on chips, necessary we really wanted the junk food and should have just enjoyed it in the first place."

When it comes to dinner , overeating or eating too much of the wrong item of food can lead to bad habit on sleeping. On the flip side, a daylight food that is less than satiating not make leave you wanting more and resulting in reaching for an eat bad food late-night side dish even closer to bedtime .
