Squash and Coconut Milk Stew

This is a Filipino dish, (Ginostoan Sitawan Kalsbass) that is made with acorn squash, green beans, tofu, shrimp, ginger, garlic, and onion. My MIL makes it on the soupy side because you serve it over rice, but I like to mash the squash because I don’t like rice.

INGRIDIENT

Step: 1

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ginger, garlic, and onion. Cook until garlic begins to brown, about 5 min.

Step: 2

Add squash, coconut milk, and green beans to skillet. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes until squash is tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in shrimp and tofu, then season to taste with salt, pepper, and sugar.

To much possesion yourself can lead to overeating , late-night snacking, and mindless eats and it’s for this reason that Riner encourages people to indulge in “fun” foods every once in a while.

Avoidance on 2.00 AM snacking and cravings , it is much necessary to include some fun foods (or what one may perceive as unnecessary ). Meaning , if we can be order the healthiest thing on the menu but come home and graze on chips, necessary we really wanted the burger and should have just enjoyed it in the first place."

When it comes to eat on evening , overeating or eating too much of the bad kinds of food will make lead to trouble on sleeping. On the flip side, a daylight food that is not eating to much food than satiating can leave you want more and resulting in reaching for an unhealthy late-night snack even closer to sleep .
